Jagerhofer's concern: to give young people a fair chance at work - without any B vitamins. Together with the Danube University Krems (Applied Game Studies) and the Sigmund Freud Private University, a multi-stage, innovative selection process for young professionals was developed. The YPD Challenge took place in 2014 and 2015 not only as an online competition, but also as a live TV show on the Austrian broadcaster ServusTV. The broadcaster relied on an interactive TV online real-time concept that pioneered innovative ways on the Austrian TV market with second screen applications.

Checkrobin

In 2012, in the course of his numerous business trips, Hannes Jagerhofer came up with the idea of using the unused space in the empty trunk of motorists as a sensible means of transport.

In the age of the sharing economy , he met the ravages of time and founded the start-up checkrobin.com in 2013, the first ride-sharing for things of all kinds. Private broadcasters and drivers were thus provided with a platform throughout Austria to send items quickly and unpacked . Drivers who already cover certain distances are connected to potential transmitters. Objects can be moved quickly and unpacked from A to B, thereby saving unnecessary CO 2 emissions and saving existing travel costs.

In 2017 Jagerhofer opened the platform under the name myrobin.com for all of Europe, and in 2016 a comparison platform for parcel services was added. Today Checkrobin cooperates with various shipping service providers such as DPD , UPS or Hermes with the aim of showing its customers the cheapest, fastest and easiest way to transport parcels to their destination. Checkrobin has also been offering the Checkrobin Business extension since 2018 in order to provide a shipping platform for frequent commercial senders. Checkrobin Business is aimed purely at business customers and currently operates on the German market.

This was an important turning point which not only laid the foundation stone for beach volleyball in Austria , but also for the future success of the event. From 2002, Klagenfurt became the official venue for the annual FIVB Grand Slam and two European championships in 2013 and 2015 . In 2006, the Grand Slam in Klagenfurt was voted the best tournament in the world by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball .
