Thomas Trummer

Thomas "Tom" Trummer (born June 1978 in Bruck an der Mur ) is an Austrian lighting designer who has headed the lighting & video department at the Graz Schauspielhaus since 2009 .

life and work

Thomas Trummer was born in June 1978 in Bruck an der Mur, grew up in Aflenz and attended the HTBLA Kapfenberg , which he successfully completed in 1998 in the field of electrical engineering (energy, control technology and power electronics). He then began studying sound engineering at the Graz University of Art and Technology and the Graz University of Technology , before moving to the Schauspielhaus Graz in 2002 . There he also completed his training as a lighting master in 2005 and subsequently worked in the lighting department of the theater. In 2007 he took over as deputy head of the department and held this position until 2009, when he was promoted to head of the lighting & video department at the Schauspielhaus Graz.
