Thomas W. Kiennast (born December 4, 1976 in Vienna ) is an Austrian cameraman . His father Erwin Kiennast is a successful music producer and composer. He is also listed under the name Thomas Kienast.

Life

He studied until 2001 at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna , Film Institute in the camera class. While still a student, he received numerous commissions for national and international advertising film productions. He works for commercials for companies such as Tchibo , Pepsi and bwin .

In the feature film sector he began in 2004 with the first three episodes of 4 women and one death . This was followed by the feature film Im Reich der Reblaus , directed by Harald Safeitz , for which he received the Golden Romy for best cameraman on April 20, 2006 .
