Thursday - A Murderous Day (Original title: Thursday ) is an American thriller by Skip Woods from 1998 .

action

The action begins on a Monday. Nick, who is accompanied by his girlfriend Dallas and Billy Hill, wants to buy a mug of coffee in a shop. Because of the cup size and the change, there is a dispute with the saleswoman, who wants to call the police about the strange customers, but is shot by Dallas beforehand. A police officer suffers the same fate, who shortly afterwards also wants to buy coffee in the shop, but after a while notices the cashier's blood on the floor.

Casey Wells, once a drug dealer , is now solidly married and building a new life as an architect. On the Thursday of the title he is visited by Nick, an accomplice from days gone by. Nick borrows Casey's car to do something, but leaves a suitcase behind. The suspicious Wells breaks it open and finds a large amount of heroin . Since the called Nick does not want to pick up the drugs from Casey's house immediately, Wells unceremoniously flushes the heroin down the drain.

Some time later he is overpowered by a professional killer named Ice, who has entered the house as an alleged pizza delivery boy. Ice is on the hunt for the drugs that belonged to his boss. When he hears that the drugs have been destroyed, he wants to kill Wells. Casey is able to overpower him and hide him in his garage. Shortly afterwards a certain Dr. Jarvis at the door, trying to check Wells' application for adoption by Casey and his wife.

Now Dallas, Nick's lover, appears. She chats with Dr. Jarvis on Casey's criminal past, according to which Dr. Jarvis leaves the house indignant. Dallas now asks Casey about drugs and money while holding a gun. First of all, she threatens to kill him. But since he doesn't know anything about the money, she wants to wait with him for Nick's return. She ties him up and sexually assaults him: she sits on his erect penis. Casey ejaculates inside her just as Dallas is shot by Billy Hill, who suddenly appears.

Hill also demands the surrender of the money or the heroin. He believes Wells when he tells him that he doesn't know where the money is. Nevertheless, he wants to murder Wells with a battery-powered circular saw. When Hill is briefly distracted by a police raid in the neighborhood, Wells manages to free himself, overpower Billy Hill and tied him up in his garage with Ice. Shortly thereafter, Wells is visited by the corrupt police officer Kasarov, who brings Nick's severed head with him. Kasarov gives Wells until 7 p.m. to find out where the money is that Nick stole from the police. Kasarov goes into the garage with Wells and shoots the two prisoners, who Wells then has to dispose of with the household waste.

Wells remembers Nick's words on his last call and finds the money hidden in the spare tire of the car that he previously lent Nick. Then he calls the boss of Ice and tells him that he wants to sell him the heroin at 7 p.m. As expected, both heavily armed groups clash at Casey's house. At the crucial moment the camera fades out and one can guess what will happen next.

Meanwhile, Wells drives Nick's Lamborghini, with which Dallas came to him, to the airport to pick up his wife. He gives her the choice of either flying with him to France immediately or separating. After she has chosen him, he shows her the suitcase with the $ 2 million and they both drive away.
