Tibor Basilidesz (born December 26, 1982 in Gheorgheni ) is a Romanian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the CS Progym Gheorgheni in the Romanian ice hockey league since 2014 .
Career
Club
Tibor Basilidesz began his career as an ice hockey player at CS Progym Gheorgheni in his hometown, for whom he made his debut in the Romanian ice hockey league at the age of 17 . In 2004 he moved to Steaua Bucharest . With the capital club he became Romanian national champion in 2005 and 2006 and won the national cup competition in 2005 . In 2008 he returned to his home club and played not only in the Romanian league, but also in the newly founded MOL league . After a year he moved to HSC Csíkszereda , with whom he was both champion and cup winner in Romania in 2010. From 2010 to 2013 he then played at the ASC Corona 2010 Brașov and celebrated the Kronstadters' first title win in 2013 with the cup victory. Since 2014 he has been playing for Progym Gheorgheni again.
International
Basilidesz was already on the ice for Romania in the junior division: he played in the U18 World Championships in 1999 and 2000 in the European Division I as well as in the U20-D World Championship in 2000 and the U20 World Championships in Division III in 2001 and 2002 .
With the men's national team , he took part in the World Championships of Division I World Championships in 2002 , 2005 and 2007 and Division II in 2006 , 2010 and 2011 .
