The Silent Eagle ( Tichá Orlice in Czech ) is a 107.5 km long river in the Czech Republic .
It rises on the western slope of the 1,003 m high Jeřáb ( Ebereschberg ) near the village Horní Orlice (Obererlitz), five km southeast of the town of Králíky in the Hannsdorfer Bergland ( Hanušovická vrchovina ). The Silent Eagle flows around Králíky to the south. On its further course to the west it takes up the 12 km long Lipkovský potok (Lipkabach) before Lichkov (Lichtenau) and runs near the Polish border. It flows further through a forest valley via Těchonín to the southwest in the direction of Jablonné nad Orlicí (fork), Letohrad (Geiersberg) and Ústí nad Orlicí (wild sword). Here the Třebovka (Bohemian shoots) flows into it.
After the river has passed the towns of Brandýs nad Orlicí (Brandeis) and Choceň (Chotzen), it turns to the northwest. Below the market town of Borohrádek (Heideburg) it unites at Albrechtice nad Orlicí (Albrechtsdorf) with the Wild Adler zur Adler (Orlice) coming from the right . The discharge at the mouth averages 7.4 m³ / s.
