Louis CK contacted Notaro and asked for permission to post the replay of the show. After some hesitation, she agreed to this proposal. The gig was published under the title LIVE and sold 75,000 times on the Louis CK website alone. The album was at the Grammy Awards 2014 in the category Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album nominated, subject to there but Kathy Griffin Album Calm Down Gurrl .
Notaro later underwent a bilateral mastectomy without restoring the breasts. Kristina Goolsby and Ashley York shot the documentary Tig about Notaro's illness , which premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival .
