Atiim Kiambu Hakeem-ah "Tiki" Barber (* 7. April 1975 in Roanoke , Virginia ) is an American sportscaster, writer and former Football - Running Back . He is the brother of Ronde Barber .

Life

Barber attended the University of Virginia after graduating from high school . After his draft pick to the New York Giants in 1997 , he stayed with this club for the rest of his NFL career until 2006. He played his last game on February 10, 2007 at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii for the NFC.

On February 13, 2007, he was officially introduced as a correspondent for NBC television . He appears there on the programs Today , Football Night in America and Sunday Night Football.

On September 18, 2007, his book Tiki: My Life and the Game Beyond was published. The autobiography was co-written by Gil Reavill . His second book, Tiki Barber's Pure Hard Workout , was published on November 13, 2008. Barber's trainer Joe Carini co-authored this book .
