Tim Story (director)

Timothy Kevin Story (born March 13, 1970 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American film director and film producer .

Life

Tim Story attended Westchester High School in Los Angeles with jazz pianist Eric Reed and actors Regina King and Nia Long . He graduated from the School of Cinema-Television of the University of Southern California .

Story made his directorial debut with One of Us Tripped in 1997. The Firing Squad followed two years later . For this production, as well as for the film Urban Menace made by Albert Pyun in the same year , Story provided the basic story.

In 2008 he produced the film First Sunday . Previously, he was an executive producer on the Standoff series in 2006 and 2007 .

So far, Story has been nominated three times for the Black Reel Award . He also received two nominations for the Image Award .
