Career

Beck's passion was football as a child. After initially riding in the local riding school, he switched to Joachim Jung, Michael Jung's father . After secondary school, he decided to do the sport professionally. In October 1994 he did a one-year internship in Kurt Maier's stable, where he then completed training as a rider. He then went to the Bundeswehr for a year, during which time he trained with state trainer Karl-Heinz Streng. He then learned from Willi Melliger and Marcus Ehning . Back in Baden-Württemberg he started his own business in Kurt Maier's stable.

In 2000 he won his first S-class and only three months later he made ten. He was then awarded the Golden Riding Badge at the Stuttgart German Masters . At this tournament he and Kevin won the final of the LBBW Indoor Championships. The couple repeated this victory in 2002. With Isabell he won the exam in 2008 and 2009, and in 2010 he won it at Millenium de Roy . This makes him the rider who won this test most often.

In 2003 he passed the horse management exam with the Stensbeck award. In 2007 he took third place at the Mannheim Grand Prix . In the same year he rode his first Nations Cup at the CSIO in Poznań . In 2008 he was the winner in the finals of the Middle Tour and fourth in the Grand Prix at the CSIO in Lipica . In 2009 he finished 10th at the CSIO in Bratislava .

In 2011 he was second at the German team championships in Braunschweig , third at the Mannheim championships, third at the Mannheim City Prize and fourth at the Mannheim Berrang Prize.
