Titular diocese of Caesarea Philippi

Caesarea Philippi ( Italian : Cesarea di Filippo ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to a former bishopric of the ancient city of Banyas at the foot of the Hermon Mountains at the northern end of the Israeli- occupied Golan Heights , which belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Tire .
