Tore Gunnar Stjerna (born August 18, 1976 ), also known by his stage name Necromorbus , is a Swedish musician and music producer .

Life

Stjerna founded his solo project Necromorbus in 1993, with which he released two demo recordings . He then played various instruments, including drums and keyboards , in various Swedish bands such as Into Desolation, Zavorash (under the pseudonym I. Hate ), Armagedda and Blackwitch. At the turn of the millennium he was a drummer in the bands In Aeternum , Corpus Christii and Funeral Mist , as well as in the band Ofermod under the pseudonym Shiva . In the early 2000s he played the electric bass in live performances by the black metal band Watain . Since 2003 he has released two EPs with his solo project Chaos Omen and has been a singer, guitarist and bassist since 2007 with the Stockholm death / doom metal band Nex, with whom he released the album Zero .

He also runs the record label Next Horizon Records, on the releases of the bands Nex, Orcivus and Ondskapt appeared.

Necromorbus Studio

Stjerna is also the founder and, together with Sverker Widgren, owner of the recording studio Necromorbus Studio in Alvik . There he mainly produces music albums for bands from the death and black metal area. He is also active in the areas of mixing and mastering .
