Total Egal is the third studio album by the German musician Herbert Grönemeyer . It was released in 1982.

background

Total Egal was the first of two Grönemeyer albums produced by Edo Zanki . Zanki formed his own band during this time and began to develop his own style. Edo and Vilko Zanki also wrote the music for two songs, N 'bomb song and Don't ask me . Forget it, let it , on the other hand, make the influence of Grönemeyer's theatrical time clear: the music is by Jens-Peter Ostendorf , the text by Jürgen Flimm . The single was Currywurst with the music by Jürgen Triebel and the text by Horst-Herbert Krause and Diether Krebsdecoupled. It developed into a cult song and one of Grönemeyer's most popular pieces.

For most of the other pieces, Grönemeyer actually wrote the lyrics himself for the first time. Later he said that he only noticed “that there are no suitable lyricists for me at Total Egal ”. Anna also developed into a very well-known song.

However, some concerts on the tour were canceled due to insufficient interest.
