The dream destination is the fourth studio album by the German pop rock band Münchener Freiheit . It was released in November 1986. After the successful compilation From the Beginning, it is the band's first studio album to hit the charts.
Creation and artwork
The recordings for the album took place in the Data Alpha Studio, in the Weryton Studios and in the Basic Studio in Munich , Armand Volker produced the record in an elaborate way, for example with many vocal tracks. The music was written by the songwriting duo Stefan Zauner and Aron Strobel . In addition to Zauner and Strobel, a top-class team was involved in the texts with Hubert Kemmler ( Hubert Kah ), Susanne Müller-Pi ( Susanne Kemmler ), Mario Killer ( Michael Kunze ) and producer Armand Volker.

The album was released in November 1986. In advance in October 1986, the first single There is no next time was released. Heart made of glass followed in February 1987 .
Some pieces appeared in 1987 on the English-language album Romancing in the Dark (as "Freedom"), such as Heart of Glass as Play It Cool . The album hit the charts in Norway , Sweden and the Netherlands .
The dream destination tour was visited in 1987, according to the band of more than 125,000 spectators.

The album reached number 15 in the German charts , it was placed for 34 weeks, from December 1, 1986 to July 27, 1987. It was certified in April 1987 with a gold record .
