Jörg-Tim Wilhelm (born November 9, 1977 in Bayreuth ) is a German television presenter and singer . Since 2012 he has been a member of the German band Münchener Freiheit .

Life

In 1992, at the age of 15, Wilhelm was the youngest member of the crossover rock band APD (Alien Police Department), with which he won a nationwide music competition - presented by Viva TV - and then received his first record deal (BMG Ariola). After four publications with BMG Ariola and 4tunateMusix and many live concerts, the formation broke up and Tim Wilhelm worked as a studio singer and songwriter at FAME AG (Film and Music Entertainment) in Munich for and with Curt Cress from 1999 .

In mid-2002 he was engaged by Hidden Force Management and built up as a solo artist. At the same time he completed his classical singing training (among others with Professor Hanno Blaschke ) at the Munich Music Academy as a scholarship holder.

After a few appearances in children's plays at the theater, he toured from 2002 with rock / pop children's music and through schools, kindergartens and hospitals. He also worked as a songwriter for the children's band Lollipops .

In 2004 Tim Wilhelm moderated the federal government's open day in the courtyard of the Chancellery and at numerous charity events in German-speaking countries.

As a musician, Wilhelm has been touring Germany, Austria, Denmark and Switzerland with the band Münchener Freiheit since 2012. He was involved in the albums MEHR (2014) and Schwerelos (2018).

Wilhelm has also been moderating children's television programs since 2003, including Pumuckl TV on the public children's channel KI.KA (2004) and the Schlawiner Club on Bayerischer Rundfunk (2005–2006). Since 2006 he has moderated music shows and TiM meets on the private children's channel JETIX . Between 2004 and 2006 he presented over 1000 programs on German television.

In 2010 he switched to private television and produced with his team - for the first time completely under their own direction - over 50 episodes of the magazine "TiM meets ... your Stars!", Which featured celebrities. The program was broadcast on Premiere and later SKY and Kabel1 for the JETIX format.
