Trolls: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack to the film Trolls by Mike Mitchell and Walt Dohrn. The soundtrack includes 13 songs and was released on September 23, 2016.

Justin Timberlake acted as the producer of this soundtrack, also sang a few of the songs and was also responsible for the lyrics of three of the songs. In addition to original songs, the soundtrack also contains cover versions of songs from the last few decades, sung by Anna Kendrick , James Corden , Icona Pop , Zooey Deschanel and Christopher Mintz-Plasse , for example a version of the song True Colors from the year 1986, performed by Kendrick with Timberlake. A cover version of the song The Sound of Silence by Simon & Garfunkel is also included.

The song Can't Stop the Feeling! Which was published in May 2016 in advance, it was the first release of Timberlake after more than two years after the last in 2014 the song Not a Bad Thing was released, and the album The 20/20 Experience - 2 of 2 removed has been. After that, the singer announced that he wanted to spend more time with his wife and family planning, and finally Silas Randall, Timberlake and Jessica Biel's first son, was born in April 2015. Singles and chart successes

On May 6, 2016, the song Can't Stop the Feeling! released as a single. This is the first single Timberlake had released in more than two years. An official video for the song was published around the same time as the world premiere. Timberlake moves through prototypical American landscapes, and crowds of people, from diners to visitors to a barber shop to supermarket employees, dance with the singer. A week after it was pre-released, Timberlake performed the song live for the first time at a performance as part of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest . Timberlake was traveling around Europe for the screening of the film Trolls at the time.

On September 30, 2016, the entire soundtrack debuted at number 13 in the soundtrack album charts in the UK and was there on November 4, 2016 # 1 its highest position. In addition, the album rose to number 41 in the download and number 57 in the Official Albums Chart in the United Kingdom.

The song Can't Stop the Feeling! immediately reached the top of the iTunes charts after its pre-release and was also able to stay at number 1 on the iTunes charts there in 27 countries.
