The Tromeđa (also Tromedja , Albanian  Trekufiri ; Cyrillic  Тромеђа ) is a mountain in the Prokletije , where the states of Albania , Kosovo  and Montenegro  meet. The altitude information for the three-country point varies greatly: on Albanian maps, the mountain is 2354  m above sea level. A. notes, official Serbian data record 2366  m. i. J.

The Tromeđa lies in the heart of the Bjeshkët e Namuna e Kosovës or Bogićevica massif . Three ridges meet on the mountain. The mountains in the west on the border between Albania and Montenegro are a little less high. The ridge to the southeast, which forms the border between Albania and Kosovo , reaches the Maja Bogiçaj after a little more than 800 meters , which is 2405  m above sea level. A. or 2404  m. i. J. is  slightly higher. Another four kilometers in the south-east, a little east of the main ridge, is Gjeravica ( 2656  m. I. J. ), the highest mountain in the region. The ridge from the Tromeđa to the north with the border between Kosovo and Montenegro leads after about three kilometers to Maja e Madhe ( 2372  m. I. J. ).

The Tromeđa is a kind of double point with a small saddle in between. The more easterly, slightly higher summit is the Ländereck with a cairn . On the western summit there is a pole marking and a summit book. In the saddle are the remains of a stone wall that used to be used by shepherds or the military. There are steep grass slopes on all sides that stretch up to the peaks.

The area northwest of the Tromeđa is drained to the Lim  , which drains over the Drina , Sava  and Danube to the Black Sea . The northeast belongs to the catchment area of the White Drin . The southern slopes belong to the upper reaches of the Gash , a tributary of the Valbona , which also flows into the Drin , which flows into the Adriatic Sea .

On the Albanian side, about 500 meters below the top of the Tromeđa, lies the Dobërdol mountain  pasture . Inhabited by shepherds in summer, this settlement also offers accommodation for hikers. The Peaks of the Balkans long-distance hiking trail leads along the slopes of the Tromeđa . The route does not go over the summit, but it can be climbed by ambitious hikers without any problems.

The names in Serbian and Albanian mean three borders .
