Tuzie is a village and a former French community with 184 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ). It belonged to the Arrondissement Confolens , the canton of Charente-Nord . The inhabitants call themselves Tuziciens .
With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Courcôme , Villegats and Tuzie were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Courcôme of the same name and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Courcôme.

Tuzie is located about 55 kilometers north of Angoulême in the north of the Angoumois landscape on a flat plateau west of the Charente River at about 115 meters above sea level. Neighboring places are:
- Courcôme in the northwest,
- Villegats in the northeast,
- Salles-de-Villefagnan to the southeast as well
- Charmé in the southwest.
In addition to the arable land around the village, the Les Couraseaux forest extends to the southwest of the municipality . The valley of the narrow Charente tributary Bief runs between the village and the forest .

Infrastructure
There is no church or cemetery in Tuzie; the parish in the neighboring parish of Courcôme is responsible. There is also a kindergarten and elementary school for the children from Tuzie.
The departmental road D27 leads through Tuzie from Villefagnan to the four-lane toll-free expressway N 10 / A 63 ( Poitiers - Angoulême ).
