Tved is a small town on the Danish Djursland peninsula in the Mols region with 219 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). Tved forms the entrance to the Skødshoved peninsula . Tved is the seat of the parish Tved Sogn . Immediately to the north is the Knebel Vig , an almost completely closed side bay of the Kalø Vig , about two kilometers to the northeast is Knebel Bro , the closest harbor for yachts .
Before 1970 Tved Sogn formed the rural community of Tved. This went up in 1970 in the course of the administrative reform in the Ebeltoft municipality , which in turn went up in 2007 in the Syddjurs municipality .
To the north, outside the village, is the church of Tved , a Romanesque- Gothic building with a surrounding cemetery. There is a rune stone in the village .
There are a few shops and a bank in Tved.
