Career

society

Tymoteusz Puchacz played in the youth teams of Pogoń Świebodzin and Lechia Zielona Góra before joining the Lech Poznan Youth Academy in July 2013 . In the 2016/17 season, the left full- back was on the pitch for the Lech Posen II reserve team in the fourth-highest Polish division for the first time and quickly established a regular position there. On May 7, 2017 (32nd matchday) he received him for the first time as part of the first division match against Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza from head coach Nenad Bjelica an appointment in the matchday squad of the first team. In the 3-0 away win, he was finally substituted in the 80th minute for Mihai Răduț . This remained his only use for the men this season, while he played 22 league games for the reserve, in which he scored two goals.

In the next season he continued to play regularly for the reserve. In order to gain match practice at a higher level, he switched to second division Zagłębie Sosnowiec on loan for the remainder of the 2017/18 season in January 2018 . On March 3, 2018 (20th match day) he made his debut in a 1-0 away win against Pogoń Siedlce . Puchacz played all 15 second half games, and contributed significantly to the rise of Zagłębie Sosnowiec as second in the table. On May 29, 2018, the lending business was extended to January 2019.

However, after he was only used irregularly at the start of the next 2018/19 season , Lech Posen called him back on August 31, 2018 and loaned him to the second division GKS Katowice for the entire season on the same day . There he made his debut on September 19, 2018 (10th matchday) in the 2-0 away defeat against Chrobry Głogów , when he came on for Kacper Tabiś in the 72nd minute of the game . Just five days later he scored his first professional goal in a 2-2 draw against Odra Opole . For the GieKSa he completed a total of 25 league games in which he was able to score four goals.

After Puchacz was back in Lech Posen's squad on July 1, 2019, head coach Dariusz Żuraw trusted his services in the 2019/20 Ekstraklasa and used him regularly. On September 28, 2019 (10th matchday), he scored for the first time in the Ekstraklasa in the 3-1 away win against Górnik Zabrze .

National team

Between August 2015 and September 2016, Tymoteusz Puchacz played 12 times for the Polish U17 national team . He then played nine U18 international matches until March 2017 . Between June 2017 and March 2018 he made 12 international matches for the U19s .

Puchacz has been working for the U20s since September 2018 , with whom he took part in the 2019 U20 World Cup in his own country in summer 2019 . There he was used in three games. In total, he played 18 international matches for the U20s until November 2019, in which he scored a goal.
