U-21 football African championship 1995 / qualification

The qualification for the U-21 African Cup of Nations in 1995 was held to determine the seven finalists alongside hosts Nigeria . The games took place between June 10 and October 23, 1994.

mode

The registered teams determined the seven final round participants in two qualifying rounds in the knockout system with home and return legs. In the event of a tie, the away goal rule decided on progress. If there was also a tie, a penalty shoot- out was carried out without extra time .

Preliminary round

The first legs were played between June 10 and 12, the second legs between June 24 and 26, 1994.

Swaziland, Botswana, Mauritania, Cape Verde, Liberia, Benin and Congo withdrew their teams. The other teams had no play.

Burundi, Cameroon, Mauritius, Zambia, Mali, Senegal, Nigeria and Guinea qualified for the finals.
