Holzhauser Strasse underground station
The Holzhauser Straße U-Bahn ( U6 line of the Berlin U-Bahn . It is one of three above-ground stations on the U6 in the Berlin district of Tegel in the Reinickendorf district . The underground station was opened on May 31, 1958 and has the abbreviation Hh in the BVG station directory . It is 788 meters from the Borsigwerke underground station and 698 meters from the Otisstraße underground station .
) is a station on theThe station has a completely covered central platform , which can be accessed via an entrance at the northern end of the platform with a vestibule, and is 7.1 meters above street level. The design is kept simple: the ceiling is butterfly-like and gray, the platform was built purposefully. The central supports consist of simple white rectangular blocks.
Originally, the station was to be converted to be barrier-free and an elevator installed by 2016 . This is now planned for 2020. In the same period of time, the heavily damaged platform and the roof are to be renovated.

At the underground station you can change from the U6 line to the bus lines X33, 133 and N33 operated by the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe .
