Uani Uma ( Uaniuma , Vaniuma ) is an East Timorese place and Suco in the administrative office of Uatucarbau ( municipality of Viqueque ).

Uani Uma has a population of 1543 (2015), 779 of whom are men and 764 women. The population density is 58.3 inhabitants / km². There are 285 households in the Suco. Almost 99% of the population name Naueti as their mother tongue. Small minorities speak Mambai or Tetum Prasa .

Before the 2015 regional reform, Uani Uma had an area of ​​25.70 km². Now there are 26.49 km². The Suco is located in the southwest of the administrative office Uatucarbau on the Timor Sea . To the north is the Suco Afaloicai , to the west of the Suco Irabin de Baixo . In the west, Uani Uma borders the administrative office of Uato-Lari with its Suco Vessoru . The Molaiuai River has its source in the south of Uani Uma and soon after flows into the Timor Sea.

The southern coastal road, one of the country's most important traffic routes, runs through the south. In addition to Uani Uma, there are the villages of Tanalale ( Tana Lale ), Comaoli ( Como Oli ), Kapuas and Kadilale .

In the Suco there are the five Aldeias Alaoli , Boro-Bohae , Osso-Mali , Uatoliloli and Udu .

The holy house of Uatoliloli is called "Tanety Sorodou" ( German  House of Broken Horns ).

politics

In the 2004/2005 elections , Abílio Pereira was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections won Bernardo da Silva Neto .
