Irabin de Cima ( Ira Bin Leten ; naueti : Irabin Ho'oli ; German  "Ober-Irabin" ) is an East Timorese Suco in the administrative office of Uatucarbau ( municipality of Viqueque ).

Before the 2015 territorial reform, Irabin de Cima had an area of ​​13.18 km². Now there are 19.29 km². The Suco is located in the southeast of the Uatucarbau administrative office. To the south and west is the Suco Irabin de Baixo , to the north the Sucos Loi Ulo and Bahatata . In the east, Irabin de Cima borders the administrative office of Iliomar, which belongs to the municipality of Lautém, with its Suco Tirilolo . The border is the Irebere River . The Calicidere , a tributary of the Irebere, flows along the border between Irabin de Cima and Bahatata.

The overland road that leads from the southern coastal road in Irabin de Baixo to Afaloicai largely follows the western border of Irabin de Cima, apart from a short detour into the center of the Sucos. Most of the towns of Irabin de Cima are close together in the north of the Sucos. These are Irabinhooli , Caida Ho O ( Kaidaho ), Mar Rae ( Marae ), Cao Oli O ( Kailoloho ), Uatubita ( Uatobita ) and Tetumori ( Tetomori ). The Sucos primary school is also located here. In the center is the village of Haebubo ( Haebabo ).

In the suco there are the five aldeias Caida Ho O , Cao Oli O , Mar Rae , Tetumori and Uatubita .

Residents

660 inhabitants live in the Suco (2015), 310 men and 350 women. The population density is 34.2 inhabitants / km². There are 139 households in the Suco. Over 96% of the population name Naueti as their mother tongue. Almost 3% speak Tetum Prasa and a small minority speak Makasae .

politics

In the 2004/2005 elections , Cosme de Carvalho was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections won Lino Martins .
