Loi Ulo ( Loi-Ulu , Loi Ulu , Loiulo ) is an East Timorese place and Suco in the administrative office of Uatucarbau ( municipality of Viqueque ).

652 inhabitants live in Loi Ulo (2015), of which 298 are men and 354 women. The population density is 40.9 inhabitants / km². There are 126 households in the Suco. Almost 49% of the population name Makasae as their mother tongue. Over 47% speak Naueti , over 2% Sa'ane , minorities Tetum Prasa or Tetum Terik .

Before the 2015 regional reform, Uatucarbau had an area of ​​16.94 km². Now there are 15.93 km². The Suco is to the north of the administrative office. To the west is the Suco Afaloicai , to the south the Sucos Irabin de Baixo and Irabin de Cima and east of the Suco Bahatata . In the north, Loi Ulo borders the administrative office of Baguia, which belongs to the municipality of Baucau, with its Suco Larisula . The northern border forms the Oulauai , a tributary of the Irebere . The Loissouro , which touches the western border of Loi Ulo, flows into it.

A country road leads across Loi Ulo from northeast to west. The towns of Loi Ulo , Lecoala and the side streets of Bualale , Liabuta ( German  White Cave ), Deni-Hare ( Denihare ), Assafadae and Macaussa are located on it . On the northern border is the village of Lau-Aba ( Lauaba ), in the southeast the towns of Irabere and Nelouai .

The five Aldeias Assafadae , Bualale , Deni-Hare , Lau-Aba and Liabuta are located in the Suco .

politics

In the 2004/2005 elections , Francisco Florindo was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections , Matias da Silva de Jesus won .
