The Suco Larisula is located in the southeast of the administrative office of Baguia.  The place Larisula is in the south of the Sucos.

Larisula ( Lari Sula , Lari-Sula ) is an East Timorese Suco in the administrative office of Baguia ( municipality of Baucau ). Two places in Suco also bear this name.

The locations

The main town Larisula is located in the south of the Sucos, at an altitude of 228  m . Here is the primary school of sucos, the Escola Primaria Catolica Lari-Sula . and a medical station. It consists of several districts: Baiana ( Baehana ), Bibidae ( German  goat head ), Lauhare Uata Tefo ( Uatatefo ), Um and Uro .

A little further north is another place called Larisula.

1190 inhabitants (2015) live in Larisula, of which 605 are men and 585 women. The population density is 37.2 inhabitants / km². There are 251 households in the Suco. Almost all of the residents give Makasae as their mother tongue. Only a small minority speaks Tetum Prasa .

Before the 2015 territorial reform, Larisula had an area of ​​36.38 km². Now there are 31.96 km². The Suco is located in the southeast of the administrative office of Baguia. To the west is the Suco Alawa Craik , northwest of the Suco Defawasi and northeast of the Suco Uacala . In the southeast Larisula borders on the municipality of Lautém with the Suco Caenlio (administrative office Iliomar ), in the south on the municipality of Viqueque with the sucos Afaloicai , Loi Ulo and Bahatata (all in the administrative office of Uatucarbau ). The northwest boundary is the Mauai River . It flows into the southern border river, the Oulauai , into which the Togauai , which rises in the Suco, also flows. The Hifu flows straight through the northeast of the Sucos . It flows into the southeastern border river, the Irebere , in which the Oulauai finally ends at the southeast tip of the Sucos.

The overland road leads along the Oulauais from Baguia until it finally crosses the river south to Afaloicai . The towns of Adoi , Bubu-Ha ( Buboba ) and Tirifalo are located near the confluence of the Mauai and Oulauai . In the north are the villages of Uatarefo ( Uatatefo ), Caudatae and another Larisula , Lauhare , Uro and Tirifalo .

In the Suco there are the seven Aldeias Baiana , Bibidae , Bubu-Ha , Lauhare , Tirifalo , Uata Tefo and Uro .

politics

In the 2004/2005 elections , Anibal Gusmão was elected Chefe de Suco. Lourenço dos Santos won the elections in 2009 and Mário de Jesus Ximenes in 2016 .
