Udo Huber (* 1955 in Vienna ) is an Austrian radio presenter.

Life

As Mr. Hitparade , Udo Huber took over the microphone from Hans Leitinger on November 1st, 1981 and presented the Austrian Hitparade on Ö3 for over 15 years . He was also active in television, from 1982 to 1993 he directed the monthly television program The Big Ten , in which a hit parade in the form of music videos (mostly shortened) was broadcast from an Austrian discotheque . This often became the most watched program of the day.

Udo Huber had made guest appearances in shows such as Dalli Dalli , Kottan , Wurlitzer , Starlight, Tohuwabohu , Wickie, Slime & Paiper , Vera , Barbara Karlich Show , Menschen, Knapp nach den Laden, Austropopshow, Licht ins Dunkel and 50 years of television.

At the beginning of 1997 Udo Huber had to leave the moderation of the Ö3 Austria Top 40 to Martina Kaiser due to structural reforms of the ORF . Since there were no more offers from ORF, Udo Huber founded the company Event Radio + TV in order, among other things, to carry out Formula 1 reports for private radio stations and ball presentations.

From 1998 to 2001 Udo Huber could still be heard on Radio RPN and Radio 98.4.

In June 2005, Udo Huber became Vice President of the Vienna Sports Club , from June 2008 to April 2013 he was its President.

From March 2007 he will host his own program on Antenne Salzburg , Antenne Tirol , Wels and Vienna. Until October 2009 he hosted the Antenne 80s Show , after which he was in Udo Huber's chart show - five decades of music history can be heard on the Antenne every Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m.

The Austrian television broadcaster TW1 introduced the program Mr. Hitparade - The Return of Mr. Udo Huber in November 2007, which was broadcast every Saturday from 7:05 pm to 8:00 pm until the end of 2008. Udo Huber moderated the program together with Stephan Sommeregger .

Since 2011 he can be heard on Radio Wien .

Private

In 1977 he met his future wife, and in 1984 their son, the quantum physicist Marcus Huber ( Start Prize 2015), was born. Since 2008 Udo Huber has lived with his wife, with whom he has been married since 1985, in Andau in Burgenland .
