Viewpoints

In 2006 she campaigned for childcare options near the workplace at Burda.

In an interview questionnaire by bestselling author Timur Vermes for the journal Journalist , who wanted to know "How long is Iris Berben going?", In 2013 she reacted angrily to the age discrimination of the then 62-year-old actress: "Hopefully so long, until men finally stop asking stupid questions about women's expiration dates. ”In a later interview, when asked whether she had to run against such resentments more often, “ Amazingly, yes, and surprisingly, this always comes from men. [...] Some men apparently think that women over 40 are invisible, old and seemingly dead. "

2015 she countered Franz Josef Wagner , who in his image - column on family policy had spoke disparagingly of working mothers, including by stating: ". I am nothing more than to mother - and Journalist" for its opposition she received approval in social Media.
