action

The film tells the story of two twin planets, which are connected by three unique rules of dual gravity:

  1. All matter is attracted to its original world and not to the other.
  2. The attraction of an object can be reduced or inverted by means of matter from the other world (inverse matter).
  3. If matter comes together with inverse matter, the combination starts to burn.

While the upper world is rich and prosperous, the lower world is poor. The upper world buys cheap oil from the lower world and in return sells electricity at a high price. Contact between the worlds is strictly forbidden and can be punished with imprisonment or the death penalty. The only connection is the large group "TransWorld", which resides in a building that connects the worlds.

Adam grows up in an orphanage in the lower world after losing his parents in a refinery explosion. His only living relative is his great-aunt, whom he visits every weekend. She has a secret recipe for flying pancakes, in which she bakes the pollen from pink bees that have collected pollen from both worlds. This recipe has been passed down in Adam's family for generations.

As a child, Adam climbed the peaks of the mountains, where the worlds almost touch. There on the summit he meets Eden, a girl from the upper world. As a teenager, both were in a relationship and Adam uses a rope to bring Eden to him in the lower world. One day they are discovered and when Eden escapes into the upper world, Adam is shot so that he drops Eden into the upper world. He sees her lying motionless. When he returns to his aunt, she is arrested and her house is burned down.

Ten years later Adam is working on a weightlessness product based on pink pollen. By chance he recognizes Eden on television and sees that she is alive and now working at TransWorld. He then presented his invention to TransWorld and was hired to develop a beauty cream from the pollen. He wants to find Eden at TransWorld. In his open plan office he meets Bob, who becomes his only friend at TransWorld, when he brings him rare postage stamps from the lower world. In return, he wants to help Adam contact Eden.

With Bob's help, Adam manages to meet Eden by buckling weights from the upper world and using Bob's name. However, Eden has suffered from amnesia since the fall, so that she does not recognize Adam. When the upper matter slowly starts to burn, Adam has to return to the lower world. When Bob is later fired, he leaves Adam his ID card, address and some money from the upper world. When Adam calls Eden on Bob's phone, he is able to arrange a date with Eden.

Meanwhile, his cream becomes a revolution for the company. When Adam does the cream in a presentation at the company, Eden realizes that Adam is from the lower world. When he tries to run after her after the presentation, he can't find her and goes to see Bob. Adam shows Bob his discovery that mixing matter from both worlds cancels gravity and that TransWorld does not know the secret ingredient for the cream so that the cream cannot be produced.

With Bob's help, Adam can meet Eden again and she begins to remember Adam. However, Adam is wanted by the police and has to flee. Back on the lower world, he goes to the mountaintop of his youth, where he always met with Eden. Eden also seeks the mountain top from her world. The police find the two again and Eden is arrested while Adam falls on his world from a great height. TransWorld wants to drop the allegations against Eden if Adam gives them the recipe in return.

When Adam is back in his old life, he realizes that he will never see Eden again. However, Eden asks Bob for help and he finds Adam in the lower world. Adam realizes that Bob has further developed his recipe and can walk on the lower world without weights. Bob tells Adam that he patented the cream before TransWorld and that Adam is going on a date.

Adam meets Eden in the lower world. She is pregnant with twins from him. This incident changes the two worlds, with both now having the same wealth and status.
