Despite this success, he left the Latvian capital and moved to HC Panter in the II-divisioona , the fourth highest Finnish league. After only half a year there, he moved back to Latvia, where he won the runner-up title with HK Liepājas Metalurgs in 2006 , but was mainly active in the Belarusian extra league. In the following year he tried a class higher in the Suomi-sarja , but where he did not get beyond isolated missions for HC Kuusankoski and Kotkan Titaanit . For the summer season 2010 he moved to the southern hemisphere to the Canberra Knights in the Australian Ice Hockey League . In 2012 and 2013 he played for the Mustangs IHC from Melbourne in the same division. He then returned to his home country and played for Tallinn Viiking Sport in the Meistriliiga , which he won with the club in 2014. Since 2015 he's back down under for the Mustangs on the ice.
