Valdemir Vicente Andrade Santos

Valdemir Vicente Andrade Santos (born January 5, 1973 in Aracaju , Sergipe , Brazil ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop in Fortaleza .

Life

Valdemir Vicente Andrade Santos entered the seminary in Aracaju and continued his studies in Rome. On August 24, 2001, he received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Aracaju . Two years later he obtained a licentiate in theology from the Papal Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum .

In addition to pastoral care and priest training, he has been Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Aracaju since 2016 .

On 11 July 2018 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Castabala and auxiliary bishop in Fortaleza. The Archbishop of Aracaju, João José da Costa OCarm , donated him episcopal ordination on August 24 of the same year . Co- consecrators were the archbishop of Fortaleza, José Antônio Aparecido Tosi Marques , and the old archbishop of Aracaju, José Palmeira Lessa .
