Vanessa Neigert (born July 11, 1992 in Treviglio , Italy ) is a German pop singer . She became known in 2009 as a participant in Deutschland sucht den Superstar .

Life

Neigert was born as the daughter of high wire artists . She attended numerous schools and wanted to take up her parents' profession. In 2009, at the age of 16, she took part in the 6th season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar and reached the theme shows. Here she mostly interpreted hits from the 1950s and 1960s and left the show in April 2009 in sixth place.

Her debut album At 17 you still have dreams , which contains cover versions of German hits, was released in October 2009 and reached number 31 in the German album charts. In June 2010 the second album I give a party followed ; Both albums were also released in October 2010 as a double album Bild am Sonntag - Schlager Party . Neigert appeared in 2009 at the Autumn Festival of Folk Music and in 2010 at the Summer Festival of Folk Music with pop interpretations; In 2010, the RTL 2 show Ballermann Hits followed .
