The Vanke Rays ( Chinese 深圳 万科 陽光 or 万科 陽光 , Pinyin Shēnzhèn Wànkē Yángguāng or Wànkē Yángguāng ) were a Chinese women's ice hockey team from Shenzhen that played in the Canadian Women's Hockey League in the 2017/18 season and the Chinese Ice Hockey Association (CIHA) under. In August 2017, Shirley Hon was introduced as the team's first general manager.
As part of the 2017 CWHL Draft, the Rays selected Cayley Mercer , Elaine Chuli, Brooke Webster, Hanna Bunton, Emily Janiga , Ashleigh Brykaliuk and Emma Woods.
In the 2017/18 season, the Rays finished fifth after the main round and missed the play-offs. Before the 2018/19 season, the Vanke Rays were dissolved or merged with the Kunlun Red Star women's team . The resulting team continued to play in the CWHL under the name of Shenzhen KRS Vanke Rays .
