history

First signs of a settlement go back to the year 864 AD. The area is dominated by agriculture and mostly agricultural workers and farmers lived in Vanzago. But for 30 years the place has been shaped by the arrival of the Milanese population. The main reason for the change of residence is the natural environment.

Demographics

Vanzago has 3,057 private households . Between 1991 and 2001 the population increased from 5,668 to 6,783. This corresponds to a percentage increase of 16.1%.
