Vera Schoenenberg

Vera Schoenenberg (* 1973 in Plettenberg ) is a German opera , operetta , lied , cantatas and oratorio singer ( soprano ).

Life

Vera Schoenenberg studied school music at the Cologne University of Music (vocals: Klesie Kelly). She then studied opera singing with Ingeborg Reichelt at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf until 2000 , with a final grade of "very good with distinction". Vera Schoenenberg took master classes for opera with Tamar Rachum, Richard Miller and Brigitte Fassbaender , in the oratorio area with Ingeborg Danz .

A first engagement led Vera Schoenenberg to the Junge Kammeroper Köln, a. a. Erste Dame ( Magic Flute ) and Suor Angelica ( Suor Angelica ), partly in coproduction with the Deutsche Oper am Rhein .

From 2001-06 Vera Schoenenberg was a member of the Ulm Theater ensemble . She made her debut as Violetta ( La traviata ). Other roles: Lisa ( The Land of Smiles ), Eurydice ( Orpheus in the Underworld ), Ilja ( Idomeneo ), Sylvia Varescu ( Die Csárdásfürstin ) Jenny ( Mahagonny ), Micaela ( Carmen ), Josabeth ( Athalia ), Bianca ( A Florentine Tragedy ), Donna Anna ( Giovanni ) u. a.

Vera Schoenenberg is a regular guest, previous stages have been Augsburg , Basel ( Violetta ), London, Gamle Logen Oslo ( Suor Angelica ), Weißenhorn ( Bastienne in Bastien and Bastienne ) , among others .
2002: Mörbisch Sea Festival , Sylvia Varescu (Die Csárdásfürstin).
2007/2008: Landestheater Innsbruck , Countess Mariza ( Countess Mariza ).
2008/2009: State Theater Meiningen , Adina ( L'elisir d'amore ) and Corilla Sartinecchi ( Viva la Mamma ).

Vera Schoenenberg has performed as a song and concert singer in Germany (including Nymphenburger Sommer , Konzerthaus Dortmund , Alte Oper Frankfurt ), Austria (including Montafon Music Summer), France, Spain, Israel and Switzerland.

TV production at NDR in the “Music Contacts” series with the focus on 'operetta', conductor Gerd Albrecht . On ORF , BR and 3sat broadcast of the Csárdásfürstin production of the Mörbisch Seefestspiele (2002).

The singer is a lecturer in singing at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. She is married to the conductor Nikolaus Netzer . The couple has two sons.
