Vérargues is a village and a commune déléguée in the French commune Entre-Vignes with 747 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region . The inhabitants are called Vérarguois .

The municipality of Vérargues merged with Saint-Christol to form the Commune nouvelle Entre-Vignes on January 1, 2019 . It belonged to the arrondissement of Montpellier and the canton of Lunel .

Vérargues is about 21 kilometers east-northeast of Montpellier . The municipality of Vérargues was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint.Christol in the north and west, Saint-Sériès in the northeast, Saturargues in the east and Lunel-Viel in the south.
