Saint-Christol is a village and a commune déléguée in the French commune of Entre-Vignes with 1,389 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region . The inhabitants are called Saint-Christolais .

The municipality of Saint-Christol merged with Vérargues to form the Commune nouvelle Entre-Vignes on January 1, 2019 . It belonged to the arrondissement of Montpellier and the canton of Lunel .

geography

Saint-Christol is located about twenty kilometers east-northeast of Montpellier . Saint-Christol is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Boisseron in the north, Saint-Sériès in the east and northeast, Vérargues in the east and southeast, Lunel-Viel in the south and southeast, Saint-Geniès-des-Mourgues in the southwest and Restinclières in the west.
