The United Mulde Eilenburg - Bad Düben nature reserve is located in the area of ​​the cities of Bad Düben and Eilenburg and the communities of Doberschütz , Laussig and Zschepplin in the district of North Saxony in Saxony . The approximately 1453 hectare area with the NSG no. L 59 was placed under nature protection in 1997 . It is located south of the core town of Bad Düben and north of the core town of Eilenburg along the Mulde . The B 107 runs to the west, the B 183 to the north , the S 11 to the east and the B 87 to the south . The state border with Saxony-Anhalt runs north.
