The Regulation laying down additional rules on greenhouse gas emissions of fuels (38. BImSchV) regulates the circumstances to fulfill the obligation to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and to the reporting obligations of the Federal Pollution Control Act .

The “thirty- eighth ” was previously documented by the long-repealed ordinance on the allocation of quotas for certain biogenic oils ( Federal Law Gazette 2007 I p. 3017 ).
