Specialization subject
As Vertiefungsfach or short groove is at higher studies a course or a group of classes referred to a field added in the depth direction or in practical applications.
On the one hand, this includes calculation methods, exercises , laboratories , projects, field exercises , etc., which deepen the theoretical subject matter in the understanding of the students, on the other hand, lectures in higher semesters that specialize in a general or introductory subject.
Some examples of such specializations are:
