The green shield , a symbol for the fertility of the Magdeburg Börde , in which the Hohe Börde administrative community is located, summarizes the main symbols from the former coats of arms of the Hohe Börde administrative associations (the Bismarck tower) and the Nördliche Börde (sheaf of six ears of wheat ). At the same time, the golden tower stands for the name Hohe and the golden ears for Börde.
