The Ries administrative community is located in the Swabian district of Donau-Ries and consists of the following communities:

  1. Alerheim , 1666 inhabitants, 23.37 km²
  2. Amerdingen , 849 inhabitants, 19.11 km²
  3. Deiningen , population 1814, 15.33 km²
  4. Ederheim , 1138 inhabitants, 16.57 km²
  5. Forheim , population 557, 23.25 km²
  6. Hohenaltheim , 589 inhabitants, 17.79 km²
  7. Mönchsdeggingen , population 1415, 32.06 km²
  8. Reimlingen , 1306 inhabitants, 9.54 km²
  9. Wechingen , population 1432, 24.03 km²

The seat, but not a member of the administrative community, is Nördlingen .

The municipality of Möttingen originally also belonged to the administrative community , which was dismissed with effect from January 1, 1980 and has managed itself since then.
