The Rochlitz administrative association is an administrative association in the Free State of Saxony . It is located in the north-west of the Central Saxony district, about 35 km north of Chemnitz . The landscape of the community area is in the central Saxon hill country , in the valley of the Zwickauer Mulde . The federal road 7 runs through the administrative community in an east-west direction and ends shortly after Rochlitz on the B 175 . In Rochlitz, the federal highways 175 and 107 cross , which crosses the community area in a north-south direction. Rochlitz is also on the Chemnitz – Grimma railway line, which has been closed.
