The municipalities

history

The administrative community was founded on March 27, 1993. After the reorganization of the Thuringian districts in 1994, the communities Haßleben (October 12, 1994) and Riethnordhausen (January 1, 1995) from the former district of Erfurt-Land were added. On December 31, 2019, the Henschleben member community was incorporated into Straussfurt.
