The Buttstädt administrative community in the Sömmerda district in Thuringia in Germany , the city of Buttstädt and nine municipalities had come together to handle their administrative business.

The municipalities

In the administrative community of Buttstädt in the eastern part of the Thuringian Basin , about 6800 inhabitants lived on an area of ​​about 104 km².

history

The administrative community was founded on January 1st, 1991. On February 4, 1995, it was expanded to include the communities of Großbrembach and Kleinbrembach.

As part of the Thuringia regional reform in 2018 and 2019 , the administrative community was dissolved on January 1, 2019. The member municipalities merged to form the city and rural municipality of Buttstädt.
