Administrative division of Tyumen Oblast
The Tyumen Oblast in the Urals Federal District of the Russian Federation is divided into 22 Rajons and 5 urban districts .
A total of 310 rural communities are subordinate to the Rajons (as of 2010). There are no urban parishes in the Rajons: in 2009, the five previously existing urban-type settlements (including Bogandinski , Borowski , Golyschmanowo and Winsili , each with more than 10,000 inhabitants) were converted into rural settlements, and the corresponding urban parishes (Gorodskoje posselenije) became rural communities (Selskoje posselenije ) converted.
From an administrative point of view, the autonomous districts of the Khanty and Mansi / Ugra and the Yamal-Nenets also belong to the Tyumen Oblast. However, these form independent federation subjects , which is why their administrative structure is dealt with in the autonomous districts, see:
