Yurginskoje ( Russian Юрги́нское ) is a village (selo) in the Tyumen Oblast in Russia with 4546 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).

geography

The place is about 120 km as the crow flies east-southeast of the Oblast Administrative Center of Tyumen in the West Siberian lowlands . It is located on the right Tobol tributary Jurga .

Jurginskoje is the administrative center of the Jurginsky Rajons and the seat of the rural community of Jurginskoje selskoje posselenije, which also includes the villages of Kolytschowa (5 km east), Novaya Derevnia (5 km south-west), Palezkaya (3 km south-east), Saosjornaya (5 km west-northwest), 5 km northwest) and Tschurina (4 km northwest) belong.

history

The place was possibly founded in the 17th century, at the latest in the middle of the 18th century and named after the river there and mentioned in 1768 as a larger village with a church and seat of a Volost . Since February 24, 1924 Jurginskoje administrative headquarters is one named after him Rajons intermittently from June 10, 1931 года until 25 January 1935 and 1 February 1963 to December 9, 1970, resolved as the Raion and its territory the Omutinski rayon based in Omutinskoje, a good 40 km south-southwest .

The regional road 71N-1309/2005, which branches off the federal highway R402 Tyumen - Omsk west of Omutinskoje, leads to Yurginskoje . There, as well as a few kilometers to the west in the village of Wagai, are the closest train stations on the Trans-Siberian Railway . The 71N-2001/303 runs from Jurginskoje to the east to the neighboring Rajon center of Aromaschewo, about 75 km away .

By 15 km northwest of Jurginskoje situated village Lesnoye conducted an in 1936 built about 100 km long railway line from Zavodoukovsk on the Trans-Siberian railway to Nowy Tap (Station Sosnowka ) that served mainly for the purpose of forestry and in the 1990s, with the exception of the first Kilometer was shut down.
