Villers-Cernay is a village and a former French commune with 337 (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region . It belonged to the canton Sedan-3 in the Arrondissement Sedan .

With effect from January 1, 2017, the former municipalities of Bazeilles , Rubécourt-et-Lamécourt and Villers-Cernay were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Bazeilles of the same name and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Bazeilles.
