Violent Journey Records was a Pudasjärvi- based Finnish music label specializing in death metal , black metal and related varieties.

The label was founded in 2004 by Vesa Ruokangas, the first singer of the Finnish band National Napalm Syndicate . The official entry in the commercial register took place in March 2007. In addition to the style of the bands, which was only partially compatible for the broad market, the sales of the label also suffered from adversities in the industry - magazines that forgot to print current ads, or to distributors for whom the commercial potential of Violent Journey Records was too low.

In the second half of 2014 it was announced on the website that the trip was over and now only the back catalog could be enjoyed.
