Vital Chitolina
Vital Chitolina SCI (born January 3, 1954 in Tuparendi ) is a Brazilian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Diamantino .
Life
Vital Chitolina joined the religious order of the Dehonians , made profession on February 25, 1984 and was ordained a priest on December 16, 1984 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him on December 23, 1997 as the first prelate of the Paranatinga Territorial Prelature, which was established on the same date . The Bishop of Santo Ângelo , Estanislau Amadeu Kreutz , donated him episcopal ordination on April 19 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Bonifácio Piccinini SDB , Archbishop of Cuiabá , and Murilo Sebastião Ramos Krieger SCI, Archbishop of Florianópolis . As a motto he chose PREPARAI O CAMINHO DO SENHOR .
On December 28, 2011, he was appointed Bishop of Diamantino.
